Bumjoon Kim completed his BS in Chemical Engineering at Hanyang University and MS in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. His previous research focused on biomaterials, drug delivery systems, and light-activated CRISPR-based cell therapies. In the Theodoris lab, he is applying experimental genomics and induced pluripotent disease modeling to map the gene regulatory networks driving cardiovascular disease and develop novel network-correcting therapies.
