Brendan Terry, PhD
Computational/Experimental Postdoctoral Fellow
Brendan Terry completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Pomona College, where he conducted structural biology and structural drivers of health research. Brendan then completed his PhD in epigenetics with Wolf Reik at the Babraham Institute, University of Cambridge. There, he discovered key transcriptional regulators and chromatin mechanisms underlying cell fate decisions during mouse gastrulation and early organogenesis. Brendan is now a 4th-year medical student at UCSF, with clinical interests in internal medicine and medical genetics. He is completing his Deep Explore research in the Theodoris lab, focusing on transcription factor regulatory mechanisms during human development. In his free time, Brendan enjoys playing soccer, guitar, and exploring nature around the bay.
