Maryam Heidari, PhD
Computational Postdoctoral Scholar
Maryam Heidari completed her BE in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Shiraz University and her MS and PhD in Computer Science with a focus in artificial intelligence from George Mason University. In her PhD research, she developed novel machine learning methods for natural language processing to address the important and widespread problem of bot detection. In the Theodoris Lab, her research focuses on developing novel computational approaches leveraging transfer learning to understand transcriptional dynamics.
